Mary Crompton, who was just married at the age of 20, wrote a journal on boards the S.S. Great Britain on the return voyage of her honeymoon. The route went from Melbourne, Victoria, to Liverpool, England and lasted from May to July, 1866. The Journal was edited by James Crompoton in 1992.
