Blue boards hardback with dustcover, 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 inch (8vo), 179 pp., b/w frontispiece.

Very good or better looks unread. Dustcover is worn with rubbing and edgewear and has a small triangular tear.

Contents:

'It is more than an autobiography; it has a life of its own and it reads from first to last like a novel. Though the story carries us back to a world which some of us are glad to have let far behind, it is a period piece without fustiness, always lively and vivid, and written with astonishing clarity.'
